Originally from the City of Tijuana Baja California, he pursued a bachelor´s degree in Law at the “Universidad Autónoma de Baja California”. He holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Procedural Law from the “Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Derecho Penal”. During the years of 2012-2014, he pursued doctoral studies in Criminal and Constitutional Law at the “Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Derecho Penal”.
His professional career began at the Attorney General's Office where, following a competitive examination, he was appointed as a Federal Public Prosecutor with assignments in the States of Chiapas, Sinaloa, and Baja California. In 2005, he was appointed Deputy Delegate of the Attorney General's Office, a position that led him to be assigned to the States of Baja California and Tamaulipas, where he also served as head of the State Delegations.
Due to personal and professional affinities, and in the pursuit of providing comprehensive advice and solutions to clients, he, along with attorneys Luis Enrique Adame Muñoz and Humberto Velázquez Villalvazo, founded the law firm "Asesoría y Litigio Estratégico, S.C." He had an active role in this partnership; however, in 2019, he took a pause as he was invited to participate in the creation and organization of the new Attorney General's Office of Baja California, serving as the Central Prosecutor. Upon completing his assignment, he resumed his role as a founding partner of " Asesoría y Litigio Estratégico, S.C." in 2022.
In his continuous pursuit of providing better services to clients, and in line with the new challenges faced by entrepreneurs, he participated in a national call issued by the Financial Intelligence Unit and was approved, obtaining certification in Anti-Money Laundering Prevention.
